Our agriculture program begins with a themed farm unit. This unit will teach the children about animals, fruits/vegetables, and the important role of a farmer.

Throughout the year, children will plant a variety of seeds that may include herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables. They will learn about the growing process and how to take care of their seedlings and plants.

This is a beginners exploration into farm to table and  learning about where our food comes from.

Another agriculture activity that we offer is our Hatch the Chicken program. In the fall, the children take part in learning about chickens and where they come from. We patiently wait for our baby chicks to hatch. Once hatched, we care for them for a few weeks. This is truly a highlight of our curriculum!
